English Teacher & Outreach

Is God calling you to help those in need, especially those who are displaced by teaching and being a part of a new, developing community center and church plant?  This missionary volunteer will partner with us in Serbia as we seek to grow his Kingdom. Serbia can be a difficult place to work as the people here have experienced a lot of suffering and Serbia is home to many displaced people in very challenging circumstances. We are actively reaching out to these people who are at difficult ‘crossroads’ to help them find and experience God as we try to walk through the doors that God opens for us to make more relationships. 

Being a part of our community as a teacher of English to mostly Russian students who are displaced in Belgrade. Our community center seeks to meet needs particularly targeted towards displaced people and we are looking for help with our English classes and with our church planting endeavors as we reach out to more people here and focus on making relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Teach multiple English classes every week (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced).
• Be a part of the events and workshops at our community center and help as needed. 
• Be a self-starting missionary as you live your life in Serbia; doing things you love to do in order to intentionally meet and get to know local people to invite them to be a part of our community and church. 

Requirements:  

• Flexibility, openness to learning a new culture and language. 
• Ability to work well with a team.
