Mission Intern – Clearwater, Florida

Is God calling you to join The Cause and discover your Kingdom purpose while being equipped and empowered with missionary skills in Clearwater, Florida?

This mission intern will join with Nazarene Global Missions, the USA/Canada Region, the Missions Mobilization team, the Florida District, and Clearwater First Church of the Nazarene Compassionate Ministry Center in being the hands and feet of Jesus.

Participate alongside a wide range of ministries: street-style dinners, resource events, English as a Second Language ministry, Grief Share, evangelistic sports programs, community assistance, volunteer leadership, prayer walking, neighborhood cleanup, and Bible studies as you bless our community through tangible acts of love while bringing people to Jesus through relational ministry, learning by doing, and growing by going.

Responsibilities:

• Engage in community outreach, evangelism, and service projects.
• Help coordinate logistics and maintain communication with local partners.
• Support the ongoing work of the Compassionate Ministry Center.
• Participate in exploring how God’s work and human dignity are revealed through cross-cultural service.

Requirements:

• A growing and active relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Passion for learning, missions, cross-cultural community engagement, and discipleship.
• Ability to adapt to diverse cultural and ministry contexts.
• Commitment to the assignment, including the application process and pre-deployment training.
