Advance Team Leader – Brazil

Is God calling you to invest in communities while leading short-term mission teams in Brazil? Advance is an opportunity to develop leadership and ministry skills while participating in meaningful service for the King’s Cause and His Kingdom. The Advance Team Leader will begin their service with intensive training before heading to their field assignment in Brazil. You will be assigned to a team of 2 to 4 people, working alongside local ministry leaders.

Your role will be to build relationships and equip others to serve effectively, engaging in the local ministry and needs of the site such as church planting, evangelism, leadership development, etc; while simultaneously facilitating and leading short-term mission teams.  This experience will prepare you for future ministry and mission opportunities through the development of leadership skills, discipleship, and cross-cultural engagement.    

Responsibilities:

• Lead and facilitate short-term mission teams.
• Actively engage in community outreach, evangelism, and service projects.
• Provide spiritual support and discipleship to team members.
• Coordinate logistics and maintain communication with local partners and contacts.
• Support the mission and vision of the local church.  

Requirements:

• Have an active and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Be actively involved in a ministry at your local church.
• Have a passion for missions, discipleship, and community engagement.
• Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to adapt to different cultural and ministerial contexts.
• Commitment to an 8-month assignment, including training.
