Eurasia and Central Europe Media and Communication Support

Is God calling you to use your creativity and communication skills to tell stories of God’s transforming work and equip leaders across Europe? The Church of the Nazarene in Central Europe and the Eurasia Region seeks a dedicated and creative communicator to serve in a dual role?supporting field and regional ministries through storytelling, media production, and digital training tools.

This sponsored missionary or volunteer position combines two areas of service: 50% with the Central Europe Field focusing on digital communication, social media, and production of training materials and courses for pastors and lay leaders. 50% with the Eurasia Regional Communications Team collaborating on videography, story development, and regional media projects that highlight God’s work across the continent.

This person will help strengthen the digital presence of the field, design and manage online learning platforms, and create videos and visual content that communicate the mission and heart of the Church of the Nazarene. The ideal candidate is both creative and organized, comfortable working behind the camera, online, and alongside ministry leaders in multicultural contexts.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage social media and communication platforms for the Central Europe Field.
• Produce videos, stories, and visual materials for training, promotion, and storytelling.
• Support the creation of digital training content for courses and lay ministry development.
• Collaborate with the Eurasia Regional Communications Team on video production, interviews, and storytelling projects.
• Assist in maintaining online learning systems (e.g., Moodle, Google Classroom, or similar platforms).
• Capture and edit media content from field and regional events , including leadership gatherings and compassionate ministry initiatives.
• Contribute to prayer and devotional materials that connect creative communication with the mission of discipleship.

Requirements:

• Strong sense of call to serve through media and storytelling.
• Proficiency in videography, photography, and video editing software.
• Basic skills in graphic design and social media management (Canva, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube).
• Experience or interest in digital learning platforms and educational resource development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English (knowledge of another European language preferred).
• Ability to travel occasionally for filming, events, or regional collaboration.
• Creative mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and cross-culturally.
• Background The Central Europe Field of the Church of the Nazarene serves 14 countries through local churches, compassionate ministries, and theological education.
• As digital discipleship and training become increasingly vital, this role strengthens our ability to equip and connect leaders across languages and cultures.
• The Eurasia Regional Communications Team works to share stories of transformation and inspire global prayer and partnership through media and storytelling.
• Serving jointly with both the field and regional team allows this missionary to bridge vision, creativity, and mission?helping others see and celebrate what God is doing across Europe.
• This ministry is not just about producing media it’s about proclaiming hope, building community, and enabling discipleship in the digital era.
