Urban Ministries and Mobilization Assistant

Is God calling you to help with the education tasks of Genesis, an urban outreach initiative?  This important position includes managing social networks, writing and translating blogs about missions and urban mission, traveling to other countries in the region to educate existing churches, and training new missionaries.

The Urban Ministries Assistant has the great opportunity to develop strategies envisioning God’s purpose for the cities. Also, this missionary creates resources, manages information and follows-up with individuals interested in living out that vision in urban-redemptive ways. He or she has the privilege to serve across the 33 nations in the Mesoamerica region to teach teams about urban mission and mobilize new missionaries to serve in God’s kingdom.

Responsibilities :

• Manage social media channels
• Write and translate blogs in both urban mission and missions
• Travel to other countries and cultures to teach the existing churches about urban evangelism
• Follow-up with missionary candidates
• Train new missionaries into the urban context Work with existing districts and churches in the urban areas of our region  

Requirements :

• Ability to clearly communicate in Spanish and English
• Social media management experience
• Problem-solving skills and creativity
• A passion to connect the Mesoamerica church with urban endeavors
• Theology studies are a plus
