Youth and Teen Ministry Leader

The CoN in Cambados, Spain, is seeking a dedicated and creative individual to serve in the role of Youth and Teen Ministry, supporting leadership development and the implementation of programs for young people and adolescents. The ideal candidate is someone with a clear ministerial calling, who is creative, assertive, and passionate about investing in the lives of young people.

Position Details This missionary will serve by developing and strengthening the youth and teen ministry at the Church of the Nazarene in Cambados, Spain. They will work closely with the local pastor and ministry team to build youth leadership and establish relevant and contextualized programs. this individual will serve in the region of Galicia, Spain, specifically in the city of Cambados. This is a coastal region with fishing families involved in the church. Cambados is a city with medieval characteristics and strong religious traditions, yet open to learning more about Christ. By investing in the training and development of the next generation, this individual will contribute to the expansion of the Kingdom of God in Galicia. We believe that God?s mission, intentional discipleship, and leadership development will be of great value in this pioneering area.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and oversee the youth and teen ministry.
• Create and/or support programs for youth and adolescents.
• Collaborate with the pastor in matters related to youth ministry.
• Design and facilitate contextual programs for young people and teens.
• Support the development of effective and contextual leadership training processes.
• In collaboration with the worship ministry leader, explore opportunities to involve young people in the development of music ministry within the church.

Requirements A clear calling to serve in cross-cultural missionary ministry with youth. Ability to relate well to young people in an intercultural context. Experience or interest in media. Ability to work collaboratively within a local church ministry team. Travel availability: Occasional. Required language: Spanish.
